Currently, she serves as the Director at SISTA FIRE, where she passionately leads initiatives aimed at advancing social justice and equality for Black women and girls. Prior to her role at SISTA FIRE, Ditra held significant positions that have honed her skills and expanded her influence in the non-profit sector. As an Innovation Fellow at The Rhode Island Foundation, she worked on innovative approaches to community development that prioritize inclusivity and equity. Her role as Director of Strategic Partnerships at The Praxis Project involved building meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of community health initiatives. Ditra's time as Program Director at The Praxis Project also allowed her to engage deeply with community programming, linking science with social justice to empower underserved populations.
Additionally, Ditra contributed her talents as the Executive Director at LISTEN, INC, a pivotal role through which she championed the needs of the community and worked tirelessly to increase access to necessary resources.
