Dolores Romero is an experienced professional in the field of social research and Indigenous women's leadership.

With a background in Social Anthropology and Urban Studies from Escuela Nacional de Antropologia e Historia (ENAH) and a PhD in Sociology from York University, Dolores has a solid academic foundation.

She has been involved in various academic roles, such as being a postdoctoral fellow at the Center of Research and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology and Ethnology (CIESAS), a former facilitator online at the Global Leadership School of Indigenous Women, and a former teacher, course director, and sociology professor at York University and URACCAN University.

Dolores Romero's expertise lies in social research, particularly with an emphasis on qualitative methods, and she has actively engaged in participatory research projects, along with tutoring thesis and local-based community projects.

Dolores is dedicated to supporting and strengthening Indigenous women's leadership by developing innovative approaches that empower this community.
