His professional journey includes notable positions like Visiting Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Co-Founder & Area Manager Germany, Austria, Switzerland at SENTIO Simulations, and Head of Research 'Innovative Factory Systems' at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence DFKI GmbH.

Furthermore, Dominic Gorecky has extensive experience in various research and managerial roles, having served as the Technical-Scientific Coordinator at Technologie-Initiative SmartFactory KL e.V., Head of the Human-Machine-Interaction group, and Project Manager at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence DFKI GmbH.
