I'd like to invite you to check out my nascent new book, "The Career Positioning System," for half off. Hit this link: https://lnkd.in/gqHTPh_r

It's just $5.00USD.

Grab it within the next 30 days of this post, as the discount does expire.

The book is meant to be a concise framework for looking at your career as a tool to give you the life you want, and an actionable means of populating your career with jobs that progressively lead you the success you define for yourself. This is in many ways a successor to "Be the Master," a book which helped lots and lots of folks gain a new perspective on what "career" means.

This book is "Agile-published." That means it isn't done, but your one-time purchase price gets you all future updates (and you can opt into email notifications when new versions are published). I release a new version every couple of weeks, and the pace will pick up a bit when this damn home remodel is finally done! (You know what's fun about hanging drywall? Nothing is fun about hanging drywall.)

I'll also be offering discounted career coaching sessions for readers of the book. If that's of interest to you, hit Follow or Connect and drop me a message.

If you'd like to share this with your networks, as you feel appropriate, it'd be very much appreciated. And, if you're a podcaster or something similar and would like to discuss the book and its methodology with your audience, I'd be delighted to make time for you!

I realize that this month marks my 40th year of more-or-less continual employment of one kind or another. 40 years. My first real job was between 7th and 8th grade, teaching BASIC computer classes to other members of the Boys Club of Norfolk, VA, on donated TRS-80 Model IVs.

So, as is my way, I've decided to write a book about everything I've screwed up, survived, and learned from managing a career. This'll be a year or so in progress, but if you're interested in being an alpha reader as I write it, please hit me up.

For those who've read "Be the Master," this is the much-better-organized (I hope) sequel. For those who've read "Own Your Tech Career," this one's less tech-specific... and self-published, so I can kind of go my own way with it :).
