Don Hinman is a seasoned Data Driven Marketing Consultant with over 35 years of experience in the corporate DDM world.

Having worked at reputable companies like Epsilon, the Allant Group, Acxiom, and The Lifestyle Selector, he has gained extensive knowledge and skills in utilizing data to enhance DDM efforts.

Currently, as the owner of dhConsulting, Don Hinman enjoys the flexibility that comes with working independently, all while relishing the Florida lifestyle.

Known as 'Dr. Data' in the industry, Don is recognized for his expertise in creating and using data in database marketing applications, elevating his status as a respected professional.

He is actively involved in various industry organizations, including being a member of the Data and Marketing Association (DMA) under the Association of National Advertisers (ANA).

Furthermore, Don Hinman's commitment to ethical business practices is evident through his role as Chair of the Direct Marketing Association's Committee on Ethical Business Practices and his past involvement as a Board of Trustees member for Marketing Edge (now known as DMEF).

His contributions to the industry were recognized in 2013 when he received the prestigious Silver Apple Award from the Direct Marketing Club of New York for his outstanding 25 years of service.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Don Hinman actively participates in the Mapping Center for Evangelism, leveraging data and geography to assist faith-based organizations in achieving their missions and objectives.

Don holds an impressive educational background, with a Ph.D. in Communication from Bowling Green State University, an MA in Communication from the University of Mississippi, and a BA in Communication from Mississippi State University.
