His earlier experience at Credit Suisse included a role as the Head of US Fixed Income Investor Relations from 2008 to 2010, where he was responsible for managing internal reporting for comparative analysis in capital and liquidity management. Noteworthy is his time as the lead coverage analyst in corporate bond research covering banks, brokers, and FinCo from 2003 to 2008 at Credit Suisse, where he published research, supported sales & trading activities, and undertook regular client visits. Donald's diverse experience also includes a brief stint in FIG investment banking at Banc of America Securities in 2006 to 2007, just before the Financial Crisis hit. Going further back, Donald's earlier roles at Salomon Smith Barney from 2000 to 2003 and 1997 to 2000 saw him covering corporate bond research, FIG investment banking focusing on M&A, and holding an analyst position in the Healthcare Group concentrating on M&A, equity funding, and leveraged finance.
