I am behind!
The last couple months have been a European whirlwind of Valencia, Espana (sorry, I don't have an "enya" on my keyboard!), 7 locales in Portugal, including speaking at FIPP - Connecting Global Media and with Joe Hyrkin, CEO at Issuu HQ in Braga, Portual; not to mention Nice and Cannes on the French Riviera. I really wanted to make it to Grasse, said to be the perfume capital of the world - but the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity had other plans. Next time.
There is so much to post - so many learnings, and against popular opinion - a LOT of work amongst the inherent fun of interacting with the best and brightest in the media, creative, public relations, advertising and marketing industries.
Exhaustion is a constant companion (if you were at any of these events, you know what I'm talkin' about).
So let's take it back, I'll reflect on the last few weeks and add some of the goodness that continues to feature CULTURS GLOBAL MULTICULTURAL LIFESTYLE MEDIA! It's my pleasure to be in such company.
Here's an overview of my talk about 21st Century Cultural Identity at FIPP. I'm thrilled to still be receiving questions, comments and kudos from the talk some three weeks ago! Because this is daunting but crucial work. And the work doesn't stop.
I'm here to give it my all!
Check out the first of many recaps with this article at FIPP from the Global Congress in Cascais, Portugal:
