Highlights
Turn off the Seach partners feature on your Google campaigns.
Are you checking your search partners' segment results on your Google search campaign? Something bad is happening there and I see it in more and more accounts. For most of us, the search-partners feature was always a nice extension to Google search traffic, generating an additional 10%-15% clicks to our search campaign with a very similar CVR and CPA. Recently, feedback of low-quality traffic started to come, and after a short investigation, I've found that most of the Google search campaign traffic comes from search partners. in some cases, it was 100% of the traffic (!) with 0 impressions from Google. As you can see in the example below, results are worse on search partners vs. Google and there is no reason for this budget allocation. Do yourself a favor, and turn this feature off, don't rely on Google's algorithm to optimize your budget allocation based on results.
