I'm excited to announce that I have recently joined the Board of GRID Alternatives Bay Area. GRID Bay Area has installed solar panels for over 1,900 local income-qualified families. This has helped these households save more than $45 million in energy costs over the lifespan of the systems. In addition, it has prevented 96,900 tons of greenhouse gas emissions, and provided hands-on experience to thousands of eager volunteers and job trainees.

Why Start Ade Solar Energy? ☀ 🌞 Have you ever had an idea that just won’t go away? Time passes, and situations change, but the idea never goes away. Well, Ade Solar Energy started with an idea that just wouldn’t go away. Since transitioning out of tech sales in January, I realized that it was time to address my idea head-on.
Ade Solar Energy aims to improve efficiency within the solar energy supply chain. Project developers, EPCs, and installation companies all face two primary risks: Communication Risk and Materials Risk. Gaps in the handoff between the seller, designer, foreman, and maintenance teams lead to poor customer experience. And once the project is finished, how do you handle excess materials?
That’s the challenge we’re tackling! 💪🏾
So Why me….? After a decade of working in Go-to-Market (GTM) functions, I’ve been exposed to all types of companies, from start-ups to large Enterprises. I’ve been fortunate to experience the journey within a unicorn and the long road of the public markets. Best of all, I’ve had some great leaders and mentors along the way. The Grit and resilience they’ve taught me are skills I think can help address the climate risk we all face.
