How do you exit your own startup? What do you do when your startup still has miles to run, but you know deep down that your time in the CEO hot seat is done?

As the founder of Makers, my good friend Evgeny Shadchnev PCC has been there and done that. And today, I'm excited to share, he's detailing how to do this in his new book, “Startup CEO Succession: A Founder’s Guide to Leadership Transition.”

Early 2022 was an exciting time! It looked like crypto was finally going to make a dent in the real world. It was so exciting, in fact, that we were given a sizeable cheque to identify and back the builders of actually useful crypto.

A big thank you to Simon Overell and Sebastian Millius for joining me on this fantastical adventure. A big thank you also to John Gu for backing us, and to Paul Reynolds for guiding us. We may not have reached our expected destination, but what a journey. I have loved every step together. Thank you so much!

For anyone trying to build something truly magical/impactful, please do contact Sebastian and Simon (details below). They are considering their next steps. However, please also be warned: their bar is very high. You could not hope to work with better AI engineers.
