As my last year of hosting the AZBAA Golf Benefit as the President, I am so proud of what this organization accomplished in the last four years! This year the Board of Directors (Tara Creel, Marci Steenson, Timothy M. Vallowe, Jeff Duncan, CAM, Jules Yimga, Christian Lambert, Alfredo Garcia, Adam Hahn, Kenneth Kiriluk, & Cathy Herring, CAE.) worked so hard to take this event to the next level and that hard work paid off. It was a huge success with 140+ attendees and 50+ sponsors coming out for a day of golf, networking, and the amazing Scottsdale weather!
I am excited to announce that we raised $85,000 at this years golf benefit! This was our largest fundraising event yet and the proceed go towards AZBAA's Business Aviation Scholarship program. All AZBAA scholarships are awarded to applicants who use the money towards tuition, flight training, and recurring training, including the NBAA Professional Development Program, CAM certification, or other professional business aviation certifications. The money is also used for outreach programs, which includes sending students to NBAA - BACE, hosting on and off campus events at local colleges, and events to connect current and new industry professionals!
Additionally, I want to give a shoutout to Christian Lambert and the volunteers who organized this years Scholarship and Sponsorship Reception / Hangar Party hosted by Jetset Magazine. This event was held the night before the golf tournament and over 250+ people from around our industry came together to congratulate and recognize this years scholarship recipients! A huge thanks to our sponsors too. The reception was sponsored by Cirrus, Right Toyota , Go Rentals, FlyHouse and Titan Aviation Fuels.
Lastly, we hosted another successful Safety Day last month on April 11th. I want to recognize Alfredo Garcia who worked hard to organize this years Safety Day! Our Safety Day featured industry leading experts where they discussed topics currently challenging the business aviation industry and ways to improve aviation safety. Complimentary registration was made possible by our sponsors, Discount Tire,Pinnacle Aviation, Honeywell, Scottsdale Hangar One, FlightSafety International, PrismJet, ACI Jet, & National Business Aviation Association.
A big thank you goes out to all of our amazing sponsors - without your support these events would not be possible. I would like to thank all AZBAA Board members and volunteers for assisting with everything. These events could not have occurred were it not for everyone who put in many hours of preparation. We are already looking forward to next year!
Photos and Videos of this years Golf Benefit and Hangar Party can be seen at the link below.
Next Thursday is the Arizona Business Aviation Association Safety Day presented by Discount Tire! We have an amazing lineup of speakers that are industry leading experts in their fields and will discuss topics currently challenging our industry. Participants will have the opportunity to network with speakers and attendees, sharing ideas for continuously improving aviation safety.
Business aviation thrives on a safe working environment and we feel that an event like this should be accessible to everyone wanting to attend. Thanks to the help of sponsors, this a free of charge event for all AZBAA members. For any non-members wanting to attend the cost is $80, which includes one year of AZBAA membership!
This is event is eligible for CAM credit too. Do not miss your opportunity to attend or sponsor! Register to attend or for sponsor information, visit the link below.

It’s even used by half the Fortune 500! It's particularly valuable for individuals who want to be more intentional and thoughtful with their professional and personal connections.
Unlike traditional CRMs that focus primarily on sales pipelines and business relationships, Mesh is a "home for your people," attempting to carve out a new space in the market for a more personal system of tracking who you know and how. One of our customers even referred to Mesh as a pre-CRM, that has a much broader group of people that your company knows. Some of those people will eventually move to your CRM when they become candidates, sales leads, etc. Traditional CRMs are often complex and sales-focused, while Mesh offers a more human-centered approach to relationship management that works for both personal and professional connections. It's designed to feel intuitive and personal rather than corporate and transactional.
Mesh takes privacy seriously. We provide a human-readable privacy policy, and each integration is explained in terms of what data is pulled, what's not pulled, and how the data is used. Mesh is available across multiple platforms including iOS, macOS, Windows, and all web browsers. Mesh offers a Pro Plan ($10 when billed annually) with unlimited contacts. Mesh for Teams starts at $49/month/seat. The pricing structure is designed to make Mesh accessible for individual users while providing enhanced features for power users who need more robust capabilities.

Many people use Mesh instead of Salesforce, Hubspot, and Pipedrive. Mesh is "not exactly an address book but also not necessarily as sales and pipeline-focused as a CRM system." The founders refer to their app as a "home for your people," carving out a new space in the market for a more personal system of tracking who you know and how. For solo entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small teams focused on relationship quality rather than sales pipelines, Mesh can absolutely serve as your primary relationship management tool.
Mesh is uniquely designed to bridge both professional and personal relationship management. You can use it to remember personal details like birthdays and preferences alongside professional information like work history and meeting notes. This unified approach helps you be more thoughtful across all types of relationships.
