Highlights
Climate diplomacy has become a joke unfortunately. It seems much easier to create new initiatives, statements, conferences, than actually solve the crisis which is growing fast. Unfortunately COP29 Azerbaijan is going down the same path than actually solving the problem 😨
I have been told I cannot change the system, but I am not going to stop trying, and meanwhile we channel our frustration into creativity 🙏🏾 Leanne Zeppenfeldt | Neil Palmer 🙏🏾 . Hopefully it helps open some eyes.
If you would like to know more about why these initiatives don't deliver, please check out this explainer video by Bruce M. Campbell 👉🏾https://lnkd.in/ea25mrjb or check out our paper in Outlook on Agriculture 👉🏾 https://lnkd.in/e7gTVxR5 . The evidence and history is clear, but are we able to accept our failures and learn from them? That is the question, and unfortunately the answer seems to be that we are not.
