Highlights
It is certainly mine but it has taken a long term to learn how to show up authentically as an empath in the work that I do.
I founded the Empathy Economy in 2016 to support other business owners who as empaths were also struggling to deal with frankly what can often be a hostile business world for us all.
If you are starting your career and you are an empath here are my top 3 tips for not just surviving in the world of work but how you can thrive as an empath.
💜 take 30 minutes at the start and end of each day to centre yourself. Balance throughout the working day is key.
💜 Identify allies at work who don't just value the contribution you bring, but actively support you.
💜 collaboration not competition is your superpower, team tasks are your chance to shine.

This breaks my heart 💔
As someone who is visually disabled and neurodiverse I've spent the last 24 years pioneering the Web Science and creating the technology which builds a more equitable world.
I'm also a technologist who has delivered technology across the entire NHS to create better outcomes.
However it is our most vulnerable people who always get the worst of a failing NHS service.
I call these patients the invisible patients. The NHS continues to reject innovative technology to enable change not just for our most vulnerable, but for us all.
The minimum I could do not just as as a technologist but as as a Mum was to make you aware of their story.
I'm also reaching out to anyone who has family members or friends who have been left behind to say, I'm listening. I'm here if would like to to contact me, I will help in any way I can
