If anyone had any doubts, Hamas is ISIS:
To all my friends and those of Israel,
I just wrote this in a few posts, replying to some people:
It indeed sad that the people in Gaza democratically elected the Hamas, a terrorist organisation, after Israel went out completely out of Gaza, leaving no Israeli there. The first thing the Hamas did was shoot their own people in the street and of course it’s not a democracy any more. Their schools teach kids to kill Israelis and they have plays on this. If this sounds historically familiar to you it’s because the Nazis did the exact same thing. When you educate for antisemitism, the result is the killing of Jews. We here in Israel have just had over 900 people murdered. There hasn’t been such numbers since the holocaust in War World 2. Israel now will retaliate and yes, there will be many casualties in Gaza, much like there were casualties in Germany (or more recently in ISIS). The issue here is not religion. We have Muslims in Israel, including in our parliament and even in the army. I think Golda Meir, our former Prime Minister (who was my neighbour when I was a kid) said it best: “When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons. Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”
Like you, wishing peace, Dr. Moti Friedman
