Dr. Qudsia HUDA is an accomplished professional in Health Security policy, planning, and implementation with expertise in Disaster risk management, health diplomacy, health system preparedness for emergencies, refugee health, and partnerships and external relations.

She holds a Master's degree in Population and International Health from Harvard University, an MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, and a Masters in Humanitarian Studies from Tufts University, MIT, and Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. HUDA has also pursued studies at institutions like Holy Cross College Bangladesh and the University of Leeds, UK.

With a vast professional background, Dr. HUDA has held key positions in various organizations, including her current role as the Head of Disaster Risk Management and Resilience at the World Health Organization Headquarters.

Previously, she has served as Team Leader for Country Emergency Preparedness and IHR, Regional Adviser for Health Emergency Risk Management, Health Security, and Regulations, Emergency Preparedness and Humanitarian Action, Tsunami Operations Manager, Emergency and Humanitarian Coordinator at the World Health Organization EMRO.

Additionally, Dr. HUDA has worked as a Coordinator at the Bangladesh Center for Health Emergency Preparedness and Response.
