Dr. Silvia Grimaldi possesses over 15 years of academic experience in teaching, researching, and supervising PhD students in transdisciplinary design and service design.
Currently serving as the Course Leader of the MA Service Design at London College of Communication, Dr. Grimaldi also holds roles as a Research Fellow on the Pharma Factory project (H2020) and Principal Investigator on the Co-Design Your Place Erasmus+ project.
Her academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Design from London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, and a Master of Arts in Industrial Design from London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, among other qualifications.
Dr. Grimaldi's research interests revolve around the role of narrative in users' interpretation of product and service experiences, service design for public engagement with biotechnology, design strategies for placemaking, and design pedagogy.

With expertise in service design, innovation, design research, narrative design, and more, Dr. Grimaldi is open to consultancy opportunities and possesses a strong background in managing teams and learning programs.
