Dr. Sybril Brown, also known as Dr. Syb, is a respected multimedia journalist, author, international speaker, and professor with over 25 years of experience in traditional and social media fields.

She holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University, an M.Ed. in College Student Personnel from Loyola University of Chicago, and a B.A. in Broadcast and Electronic Communication from Marquette University.

Dr. Syb is a full professor of journalism at Belmont University, where she was instrumental in establishing the New Century Journalism Program and currently teaches courses on Social Media Reporting, Digital Citizenship, and Entrepreneurial Media.

With a background that includes roles at prestigious institutions such as ABC, CBS, and Vanderbilt University, Dr. Syb has a wealth of experience that has earned her two Emmy awards for her multimedia journalism work.
