Dylan Pozorski

Research Assistant - Institute for Artificial Intelligence (UGA)

Dylan Pozorski is a dedicated researcher with a keen interest in analogical reasoning as highlighted in works by Douglas Hofstadter and Stanley Cavell. His focus on understanding the process and role of analogy in creative behavior has led him to delve deep into researching how analogy communicates concepts effectively and how it is crucial for intelligence and learning. Pozorski is particularly interested in exploring how analogy and metaphor play fundamental roles in shaping intelligence and learning, drawing from works in Homotopy Type Theory and modern neural architectures. He sees these pursuits as essential for decoding language, learning, and evaluating the efficacy of existing technology. His academic journey includes a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Georgia and Bachelor's Degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
