What is wellness - aside from a $1.8 Trillion (and growing) global market? 💰 🧘🏽♂️
At a recent conference, a nutritionist challenged me to explore the concept of wellness through a thought experiment. 🤔
Imagine two plates of food: one for health and the other for wellness. 🍽
For health, I envisioned a plate with whole grains, vegetables, modest portions, and minimal meat. When considering wellness, my plate transformed into a colorful array of stimulating flavors, and sustainably sourced foods that brought joy, while reflecting my cultural and ethical values. 💝
In a world craving positivity amidst increasing stress and anxiety, brands can embrace the expanding realm of wellness beyond traditional health norms. By focusing on the enjoyment and enrichment of life they offer, brands can tap into holistic well-being and create new pathways for growth and relevance.

Your product and people’s experience with it are your most valuable brand assets. Unlock growth with these three questions as you plan for 2025:
🔍 What do people value most about my product, now? Needs and preferences change. Benchmark how you communicate your value vs. what is currently valued using social listening, product reviews, and customer chatter. Update packaging, messaging hierarchy, and feature communication to attract new customers effectively.
🛒 How does the product support the customer after purchase? Understand how easily customers realize the promised value by reviewing feedback. Enhance post-sale communication flows, packaging, and support content to improve repeat business, reduce returns, and boost positive word-of-mouth.
📅 When and where is my product’s value most self-evident? Identify when and where your product is most relevant to the customer. Plan to be there for these moments that matter. Enhance SEO and social strategies with focused tentpole activations to showcase your product or service in a tangible way (pop-ups, sampling, events).
Marketing 101 fundamentals like this often get lost in the noise and demands of building a business when talent and resources are tight. What product-based growth opportunities are your team overlooking?
