Highlights
My fellow English majors, I'm here to tell you that there is hope for our careers. And actually, our skills and experiences may only become more valuable in the near future.
Today is a big day for our team, as we launch our annual Tech Trends report.
Every edition I've worked on was special, but I feel like things really clicked on this one. We talked to some really insightful business leaders from Fortune 500 companies, internal subject matter experts, and pioneering researchers. What resulted was some truly thought-provoking work.
As you might imagine, much of the report is devoted to generative AI. The technology's emergence has truly reshaped the future businesses were imagining for themselves. But we also acknowledge that AI isn't happening in a vacuum.
There are technical foundations that go beyond the latest algorithm that are necessary for getting actual business value out of AI. Leading businesses are taking a portfolio approach to technology innovation that includes the metaverse, quantum computing, and advanced engineering, among other things.
