Dr. Ed Esplin is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in medical genetics, preventative genetics, cancer genomics, genomic medicine, and internal medicine.

Dr. Esplin received his A.A. in Business from Dixie State College of Utah, B.A. in Biology with a Genetics emphasis and a minor in German from the University of Utah, and his M.D., Ph.D. in Medicine and Genetics from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

He further honed his expertise through a Residency/Fellowship in Human/Medical Genetics at Stanford University School of Medicine and an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine Residency Program at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

Throughout his career, Dr. Esplin has held various key positions, including Clinical Geneticist at Invitae, Clinical Scholar at the Department of Genetics at Stanford University Medical Center, Clinical Geneticist at Kaiser Permanente, Medical Genetics Fellow at Stanford University Medical Center, and Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

Additionally, he has contributed to the medical field as a Staff Physician in the Medical Service at Veterans Administration Medical Center at Dallas and as an Internal Medicine Resident at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Esplin also served as the Director and Secretary at Wheelchair Independence, showcasing his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the realm of medicine.
