Eddan Katz is a professional with a strong background in technology and ethics, artificial intelligence policy, human rights, civil liberties, and access to knowledge.

He has been involved in addressing global flows of information, the knowledge economy, contextual privacy, general data protection, intellectual property, and the public domain, particularly in the context of the fourth industrial revolution.

Eddan's educational journey includes a J.D. in Law and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, a Post-Doctoral Fellowship with the Information Society Project at Yale Law School, and a Postdoctoral Scholar position at the School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley.

His academic foundation comprises a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale University and a High School Diploma in General Studies from Harvard-Westlake School.

Throughout his career, Eddan has held various key positions in renowned organizations. He has served as an AI Policy Analyst at Ethical Intelligence, an Affiliate Fellow (in Practice) at the Yale Information Society Project, and contributed to Reality Labs: Public Policy Research at Meta.

Additionally, he has acted as a Tech Policy Advisor at Credo AI, a Platform Curator focusing on AI/ML at the World Economic Forum, and has worked on Data Policy and Protocol Design Networks at the same forum.

Eddan Katz has also held the role of International Affairs Director at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, acted as a Lecturer at Yale Law School, and served as Executive Director at the Yale Information Society Project.
