Thank you GeekWire and Taylor Soper for helping us tell the Gray Line Story!
SVeterans,
I'd like to share an opportunity we have at Gray Line Partners for 2nd Year MBAs that would like an internship opportunity in Growth Equity (later stage VC).
Rob Hammond and I have recently left Point72 where I led growth stage investment activities to start Gray Line Partners where we focus on investing in and helping post product-market fit software companies scale. We are both Post 9-11 veterans and transitioning into the "Buy Side" was full of headwinds for a lot of different reasons.
One of the most difficult headwinds to overcome was that every buy side job required buy side experience and you couldn't get experience without having a job first. This internship that we are calling the Veterans Associate Program is meant to be a bridge for veterans that we know are fully capable of building amazing investing careers, but just happened to serve their country instead of checking all of the traditional career boxes in their 20's.
If you or anyone you know would be interested in joining our program, please share this message with your network.
Thanks! Eddie and Rob
