Highlights
Our "Indonesia-only" Intudo Ventures recently had the privilege to sponsor/speak for the 6th year in a row at the 30th annual Harvard Business School Asia Business Conference which was built on the theme of "Asian Momentum: Breakthrough Success in Asia and Beyond."
This theme perfectly encapsulates the flurry of activity and bold initiatives driving the region forward, a journey we’ve been privileged enough to be a part of.
I had the chance be part of the "State of VC: From Asia to the Bay" panel together with some stellar friends David Yin Susli Lie Brendon Kim and moderated by incredible friend Professor Andy Wu.
The panel delved into the transformative role of Asian venture capitalists and startups in the global evolution of the venture capital ecosystem. From fueling the growth of unicorn companies to nurturing a vibrant startup culture, Asian VCs have been pivotal players in driving technological advancement and economic growth not only within the region but also on a global scale.
Furthermore, our portfolio company Xendit, represented by Yang Yang Zhang (Chief Innovation Officer of Xendit), was also in attendance and took part in the panel discussing "Entrepreneurship: Innovation from Asia to the Globe", which brought together visionary founders of successful startups across Asia, who shared their journey from ideation to execution, the obstacles they have overcome, and the strategies that propelled their ventures to prominence.
Attendees gained insights into the evolving startup ecosystem, including trends in technology adoption, consumer behavior, and location selection.
At Intudo, we're committed to supporting and empowering entrepreneurs who are driving innovation and creating impact across Asia, particularly in Indonesia.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Asian-Affinity Business Association of Harvard Business School for organizing this incredible conference and to all the participants who contributed to insightful discussions. #IntudoVentures #HarvardBusinessSchool #AsiaBusinessConference #Entrepreneurship #VentureCapital
