Highlights
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to participate in the #Connect_and_Experience Japan 2024 programme, organized by EIT Global Outreach.
🇪🇺 🇯🇵 This initiative brought together 20 tech ambassadors, including myself, to Tokyo, immersing us in one of the world's fastest-growing eco-system.
☀ A heartfelt thank you to everyone we met along the way. From the in-depth introduction to Japan's innovation landscape by Deloitte Tokyo to the inspiring visit to the Tokyo Innovation Base, every moment has been a learning experience.
☀ We had the privilege of forming #strategic #partnerships with leading Japanese industry players such as Mitsubishi Corporation, Hitachi Energy, Yamaha Corporation, Panasonic, and Toshiba.
☀ Our roundtable discussions at Deloitte and one-on-ones with VCs and CVCs like Honda Xcelerator and Google Cloud were invaluable for exploring collaborative opportunities.
🇪🇺 Special thanks to H.E Mr. Jean-Eric Paquet, EU Ambassador to Japan, for his inspiring welcome, and to Shibuya Startup Support for demonstrating how they help global startups integrate into the Japanese market.
☀ Our meetings with major Japanese holding companies like Mitsui & Co., Ltd. further explored options for accessing the EU innovation market. Insights from Shizenkan University (大学院大学至善館)University on building the next generation of #Japanese business leaders were particularly enlightening.
☀ Connect & Experience Japan has laid a strategic foundation for impactful collaborations that will drive innovation and startup growth in both the EU and Japan.

That’s a wrap on our Re-Connect & Experience programme and an unforgettable #Berlin #Playground 💫.
The energy in Berlin was absolutely electric. Seeing everyone from the 2023 C&E Israel cohort come back together, ready to dive in and pick up where we left off back in October, was nothing short of inspiring. The conversations, the familiarity, and the shared sense of purpose reinforced the importance of human connection upon which Connect & Experience is built.
Over the course of a few days in #Berlin, colleagues have turned into friends and together we've built our tribe. Every business transaction is the sum of human connections, and these past few days have nurtured personal relationships that will be the foundation for future collaborations.
🙏 🙏 I want to extend my thanks to each and every person who has played a part in making these events a success – to our incredible C&E alumni community, our speakers & partners Pranav Arya, Balazs Furjes, Ido Jonathan Engel, Inbal Perlman, Israel Innovation Institute, Tal Biran Ben-Gal, Sharon Goldberg, Yoav Fisher, Deborah Kreis, Pui San Tam, Serghei Glinca, and Lisa Janßen.
And of course to the amazing team at EIT Hub Israel, Tal Caspi and Maytal Perlman – chapeau 🎩 – you are the evidence that when you work with people that you love, you don’t even feel like you’re working.
