Highlights
Ebola in Uganda - cases are spreading across the country. Everyone who can needs to play a role in halting it in its tracks. Two large refugee settlements are very close to the location of the original outbreak.
At Cohere we are working with refugee-led organisations who are on the frontline of the response to the Ebola crisis in Uganda. https://lnkd.in/e9kiJ9pU
Via our new platform, Reframe, you can support them. We have set up a "pooled fund". Everything raised on the pooled fund will go to a selection of refugee-led organisations working in the immediate vicinity of the outbreak. Through Reframe you can learn about each RLO and the work they are doing, and you can make a tax deductible donation. These organisations, including, Tomorrow Vijana in Rwamwanja and YIDA and YARID in Kyaka are leading communications and awareness campaigns to mitigate the spread of the deadly virus. Rwamwanja and Kyaka are two large refugee settlements within the danger zone of the virus - Kyaka has already been locked down to slow down the spread. Support our pooled-fund today so they can support their communities during this uncertain time.
