I am certainly sympathetic toward the people of the PRC but there is one thing that boggles my mind. First, I’m fairly certain that China outstrips the US manufacturing capacity of the relevant supplies by a minimum of 2 orders of magnitude. Second, surgical masks in particular seem to have become fashionable items among Chinese consumers. If not manufactured in China, surely SE Asia is a go to spot for these same items. China has money stacked to the sky. I’m also under the impression that logistics is as big of a problem as is production of these supplies. So, what gives? Why solicit the US for such generosity? If the need is indeed true; please, by all means, help the people of China. I’m just a little confused by what I’m reading. #china #masks #prc
Our society does not understand the concept of equality. If you think equality can be derived from carefully balancing the demographic representation within your company, you will fail. You are completely misunderstanding the problem and applying a dubious solution. When we come to terms with the fact that x, y, z human is equally capable of N output, we'll then be positioned for advancement. With respect to women; does anyone really believe that cramming women into a demographic balancing equation is going anywhere?
