Edward Baker is a highly experienced professional in the field of history museums with over twenty-five years of experience in program delivery, supervision, and administration.

He has a strong background in living history programming, specializing in historic agriculture, historic trades, and first-person interpretation.

Edward has held significant roles in various prestigious organizations, including serving as the Associate Director in the Interpretation Department at Mystic Seaport and as the Executive Director at the New London County Historical Society.

His expertise extends to maritime history, the history of Shakers and Quakers, and managing the diverse demands of small historic sites.

Edward's educational background includes a BA in History from Juniata College and an MS in Recreation and Parks from Penn State University.

He has actively contributed to the field by being a part of the Association for Living History, Farm, and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM) and was honored with the Schlebecker Award, the highest recognition from the association.
