Edward Nemutamvuni

Legislative Language Translation: Department of Justice

Edward Nemutamvuni is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background. He pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Science at the University of Venda and furthered his studies with a Doctor of Philosophy in Languages, Linguistics, and Literature - African Languages at the University of South Africa. He also holds a Master of Arts in African Languages, Honours BA in Archival Science, and various other qualifications.

Throughout his career, Edward has contributed his expertise in language and research to notable organizations. He was previously a Senior Language Practitioner at the Pan South African Language Board, engaged in language research and development at the Language Research & Development Centre, and involved in legislative language translation at the National Department of Justice.

In addition to his linguistic roles, Edward has diversified his experience by working in different sectors. He has served as an Officer-in-Security Section at the Provincial Department of Health, participated in gender equity initiatives with the National Department of Education as an intern, and acted as a Peer Educator at the Thohoyandou Victim Empowerment Programme.

With his comprehensive academic qualifications and professional involvement in language, research, security, and social programs, Edward Nemutamvuni possesses a well-rounded skill set that enables him to make valuable contributions to various fields.
