Edward Phillip Kinsey II is a seasoned technology entrepreneur with a background in finance, holding roles such as CEO, COO, CFO, and Board Member in high-tech companies and non-profit organizations.

Starting his career in renowned firms like PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP, in Ohio, and KPMG in Silicon Valley, Kinsey's expertise extends to financial and high-tech sectors.

He co-founded Ariba, Inc., a prominent provider of Spend Management solutions, and contributed as a member of the DocuSign Strategic Advisory Board.

In 2007, Kinsey established Determination Ventures, LLC, a private investment fund, followed by founding Impel, Inc. in 2012, resulting in patents for consumer service commerce technologies.

With a recent role as the Chief Financial Strategy Officer and Senior Advisor at the U.S. State Department, Kinsey played a pivotal role in strategic initiatives and policy-making, including Executive Order 13959.

Currently, Edward serves as a Senior Fellow at the Prague Security Studies Institute and is actively engaged in philanthropic endeavors through The Kinsey Family Foundation, notably creating the Kinsey Determination Scholarship at The University of Toledo.

His academic journey includes a Doctor of Public Service, Honoris Causa from Lourdes University and a BBA in Finance & Accounting from The University of Toledo.
