I was grateful to share my thoughts with Forbes on who should consider an Executive MBA (eMBA) and why.
The value of an eMBA goes beyond just academic knowledge - it's about building a strong professional network, learning from diverse peer experiences, and applying management theories to real-world scenarios. These programs are ideal for those looking to make a significant shift in their career or enhance their leadership skills.
However, it's crucial to choose wisely. Factors such as faculty expertise, course content relevance, and the diversity of participants greatly influence the overall value. The costs can be high, and not all programs offer cutting-edge content, which makes the return on investment vary.
It's also important to remember that the best schools often look for high GMAT and EA scores from applicants. Preparing for these exams can be challenging and takes a lot of time.
What are your thoughts? Are eMBA programs still the best path for career advancement, or are there more effective alternatives in today's dynamic business environment?

Recently, I was asked to explain to high school students what I do, in a way that’s both engaging and easy to understand.
I am a Chief Learning Officer. But no, I don't just deal with training people. I’m an art critic, an engineer, an environment designer, a casting director, and so many other roles that I take on while working with talents. My job isn't just about educational programs and implementing strategies; it's about unlocking and developing the inner potential of each individual.
I love my job because it allows me to be part of someone's transformation. When our employees come to me with ideas and requests, I see more than just a business task. I see smiles, doubts, aspirations. In each one, I find something special that should be reflected in the solution. This is a huge source of inspiration for me.
People are my main muse. In their experiences, ambitions, and stories, I find diverse approaches and inspiration for new projects. Each employee is a new challenge and an opportunity to create something meaningful. I listen carefully to their stories, trying to understand who they really are, what they want, and how I can support them on this journey.
In my work, I strive to create an atmosphere of trust and support. Our employees know they can always count on my understanding and assistance. Sometimes, I need to become a psychologist, to listen and understand without words. This too is a source of inspiration, as every story and every experience shared by our employees teaches me and helps me become better at what I do.
My work is more than just training employees and implementing strategy. It’s art, creativity, design. It’s the opportunity to transform the life of each person who comes to me. To create an environment where everyone can express their identity and unlock their potential.
I am grateful to every employee for the opportunity to be inspired and to grow every day.
