Elaine Dunn is a retired academic and professional with a diverse career history in financial services and higher education. After a successful 18-year tenure in financial services, she transitioned into academia in 1999 driven by her passion for education's transformative power. Elaine has held various managerial positions in higher education, focusing on the nexus between education and business activities.

Elaine's academic journey includes completing her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Management Learning & Leadership at Lancaster University Management School. She also pursued higher education qualifications in academic practice, project management, and organizational leadership from renowned institutions like the University of Bradford and Ashridge Business School.

Before her academic pursuits, Elaine accrued significant industry experience working as a management consultant, project leader, and systems architect at NatWest. Her educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics & Physics from the University of Leeds, along with O levels and A levels from Queen Mary's High School for Girls, Walsall.

Throughout her academic career, Elaine held roles such as Associate Lecturer, Lecturer in Leadership, and Head of Careers & Alumni Relations at Lancaster University Management School, and various managerial positions at the University of Exeter Business School. Elaine is currently contributing to Lancaster Golf Club as a Board Director.
