Elana Pirtle-Guiney is a dedicated advocate and former policy director with a strong commitment to uplifting others.

With a background in International Affairs and a focus on Environmental Policy from Lewis & Clark College, Elana has navigated complex policy and political issues in various leadership roles.

Her career includes positions such as Principal at Confluence Solutions, Special Advisor to the Commissioner at Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, and Legislative Director at the Office of the Governor in the State of Oregon.

Elana has also served as the Workforce and Labor Policy Advisor, Legislative and Communications Director, Interim Political Director at Oregon AFL-CIO, and in various other capacities supporting progressive work environments, union contracts, policy mediation, and legislative negotiations.

Currently, Elana Pirtle-Guiney is a candidate for the Portland City Council District 2 in N & NE Portland.
