Highlights
If there's one thing I've learnt from dramatherapy, it's this...
You have to be ready to tear up the plan. 📣 Be ready to roll with it. Be ready to go with the flow.
That's why on Monday, I'm starting a new job at the University of Derby as a lecturer on their MA #dramatherapy course.
I'm pausing my PhD for 12 months and stepping into a full-time teaching role.
I'm going to miss my QMUL colleagues so so much, but I'm really looking forward to working with the teaching team at Derby and to, hopefully, instilling the passion that I have for dramatherapy, into others.
So, here's to the plan. And, here's to tearing it up! 👏
WOW, wowwww, wow! ⚡
I am absolutely blown away by the quality, variety and sheer amount of brilliant content in the first issue of the The Dramatherapy Journal which is hosted by Intellect.
We've got process research, we've got global perspectives, we've cutting edge literature reviews and book reviews, we've even got clinicial reflections and artistic offerings. Whatever area of dramatherapy you're interested in, this issue is absolutely bursting at the seams with excellent contributions from across the field.
Congratulations to all the contributing authors...

Having been a big advocate for going open access, I am also so thrilled that our journal is now completely free to read (and, indeed, to submit to 👀 ) by anyone interested in our field.
Dramatherapy practice, research and our academic outputs are growing and I am, personally, so excited to see where we all, collectively, take it! Let's go 🚀
