Elena Olmedo is a sustainability professional with a strong background in real-world greenhouse gas reduction strategies, renewable energy systems, and distributed energy resources. She brings to the table a wealth of experience and expertise in various sustainability practices and program management.

With a focus on quantitative analysis, greenhouse gas quantification, and sustainability best practices, Elena excels in areas such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, performance metrics, and Energy STAR portfolio management. Her skill set also includes customer outreach, grant support and writing, financial modeling, forecasting, and strong written and verbal communication.

Elena pursued her education at Presidio Graduate School, where she completed a Masters in Business Administration in Sustainable Management. Prior to that, she studied Legal Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Throughout her career, Elena has held key positions in renowned organizations. She currently serves as a Climate Advisor at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Previously, she worked as a Sustainability Coordinator at the City of San Carlos, a LEED Certification Reviewer as an Independent Contractor, and a Sustainability Specialist at Quantum Energy Services and Technologies, Inc.
