Elias Schewel is a proficient environmental policy researcher and strategic mapper with a diverse background in design, architecture, community outreach, and youth education. Elias holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning with a focus on land use, environmental planning, and transportation planning from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and Urban Design from New York University. Elias's professional journey includes roles such as Research Associate at the West Virginia Center for Budget and Policy, Research Assistant at the Informal Care and Vacancy Project, Researcher at Coal River Mountain Watch, and Research Associate at the Regional Plan Association.
