Just finished an incredibly hectic but rewarding week at home co-producing Ericsson’s digital broadcasts to our customers and the world during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Yes, I have been doing these types of digital productions the past two years but not like this. No. With truss mounted IP connected cameras at each of our stations, steadicam crews, full Comms between myself and all key personnel, I could monitor and help direct a multitude of parallel sessions throughout the week. This time we took a huge leap of faith. With great trust and cooperation from our customers, account managers, Ericsson executives, an amazing group of talented business builders on the show floor, two amazing on site hosts (Elsa Landberg and Anne Matias-Gustafsson ) a best in class production team Creative Technology (Christian Heimholt and Elm Jon-Martin ) Valtech RADON Jack Morton Worldwide (George Huxstep ) and tremendous support from our Live Marketing team, we did what few thought would be possible. We delivered a hybrid event like no other AND through clever distributed production. Limited crew on site and larger remote crews in Stockholm we proved that with careful planning and excellent #connectivity one can achieve a lot. We brought twenty two tailored shows to dedicated customers around the globe and in some cases with localized language. We made a promise to deliver a world class physical experience to those who could travel and a similar experience to those customers who were unable. I feel incredibly proud to be part of the greatest global team at Ericsson . To work with such talented, dedicated, and positive people is a true dream. Thanks.
