Elizabeth Bintliff

CEO Junior Achievement Africa

Elizabeth Elango Bintliff is a seasoned executive and education leader with extensive experience in Africa and the United States. She served as the CEO of Junior Achievement Africa from November 2015 to June 2020.2 In this role, she led and provided strategic direction for JA's work in sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.2

Prior to her role at Junior Achievement Africa, Bintliff held several leadership positions:

  • Vice-President of Africa Programs at Heifer International (October 2011 - June 2015)2
  • West Africa Regional Director at Heifer International (April 2010 - March 2011)2
  • West Africa Program Officer at Heifer Project International (2002 - 2010)2

Currently, Bintliff serves as the CEO and Head of School at Global Village Project since September 2020.2 This organization is the only school in the US established specifically for refugee girls, providing education to newly resettled girls in and around Decatur, GA.2
