Elizabeth Brickley

Dr. Elizabeth B. Brickley is an Assistant Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at Dartmouth College.

Her research focuses on communicable disease control in low and middle income countries, with specific projects on leprosy, Zika virus, poliovirus immunity, severe malarial anemia, and the maternal-child microbiome interface.

Dr. Brickley's work includes collaborations with CIDACS-Fiocruz and the ZikaPLAN consortium, supported by various organizations including the Medical Research Council, the Wellcome Trust, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

She holds a PhD in Public Health and Primary Care from the University of Cambridge, along with dual MPhil degrees in 'Environment, Society, and Development' and 'Epidemiology', and a BA in Biology with a concentration in Maritime Studies from Williams College.

Originally from southwestern Pennsylvania, Dr. Brickley has an extensive academic background and has held positions at prestigious institutions like the University of Cambridge, Dartmouth College, and the National Institutes of Health among others.
