Elizabeth Bunting is the Campus Dean and Program Director for the Master of Physician Assistant program at West Coast University-Center for Graduate Studies.1 In this role, she oversees the program's establishment and accreditation, curriculum development, clinical site procurement, and other programmatic requirements.1 She is also a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of PAs (DFAAPA).1 Additionally, she serves on the Item Writing Board for the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (NCAPA).1

Before joining West Coast University, Bunting was the Special Projects Advisor at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (UTC), focusing on COVID-19 response, campus wellness, and interprofessional education, while also serving as a Clinical Associate Professor of Practice.1 Prior to her time at UTC, she was Program Director and Chair for the Physician Assistant program at UTC.1 Earlier in her career, Bunting was a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Admissions for Physician Assistant Studies at East Carolina University.1 She was also a Chancellor-appointed Faculty Leadership Fellow and received an endowment in her name for PA students.1
