Elizabeth Drye

Senior Director, Quality Measurement Programs, Yale/YNHH Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE)

Elizabeth Drye is a national leader in advancing health care quality and safety through the development of innovative quality measures and consensus-building on measurement approaches.

With a background in clinical medicine, measurement science, health information technology, federal policy, and value-based payment programs, she advises various federal agencies and private organizations on measurement design and strategy for value-based payment programs.

She has held senior positions in the White House, Congress, and the executive branch, and leverages her experience to navigate policy and technical challenges by uniting diverse stakeholders towards a shared vision.

As a flexible thinker, Elizabeth leads interdisciplinary teams to provide creative solutions, recruits and nurtures diverse talent, explores new business opportunities, and fosters a supportive, agile, and impactful workplace.

Her education includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Harvard Medical School, an SM in Health Policy and Management from Harvard School of Public Health, and an AB in Human Biology from Stanford University.

Elizabeth Drye currently serves as the Senior Director of Quality Measurement Programs at the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) at Yale University School of Medicine. Previously, she held positions such as Research Scientist in Pediatrics and Cardiology at Yale, Industry Best Practice Advisor at the National Coordination Center, Pediatric Resident at Yale New Haven Hospital, Chief of Staff at the Domestic Policy Council in the White House, and Legislative Assistant in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the United States Senate. She also worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency in various roles.
