Just finished the course “Accessibility for Web Design.” Learned a lot, and there's still a lot more to learn about the subject! I'm looking forward to integrating these principles into my work, and am thrilled that I get to do some work in this area as it's something I've been interested in for a while now.

Highly recommend that fellow designers & developers, as well as anyone who doesn't know much about this area check out this course (or other resources on the topic).

If anyone has any other resources they like on Accessible Design/Accessibility, please share them below! #accessibledesign

A bit delayed in posting this, but I had a great first Config experience :)

I attended some really interesting talks, including one by Jessica Hische about the importance of being detail oriented in design, one by Myriam El harraq and Thomas Vidal about how they leverage experience design in the hospitality industry, and one by Emonee LaRussa discussing how she created graphics for the Super Bowl. It was also really exciting to be in the room with everyone as Dylan Field, Mihika Kapoor and others announced the new Figma features like Figma Slides and AI integrations.

The highlight for me was meeting a lot of really amazing and kind creatives from all around the world, across a variety of industries. So many people willing to help and support a younger designer <3

Special shoutout to Adam Syed, Taylor Ho, Jason C. and Joshua Wolk for being my Config buddies and wandering around with me, it definitely made the huge event more manageable.

Also thank you to 8VC and adplist.org for the wonderful afterparties, where I met even more awesome people, and to Jessica Hische for hosting a printmaking workshop at her shop in Berkeley.

Additional huge shoutout to Brian Machado for letting me crash at SF2 while he was away, staying at a hacker house while in SF gave me the full tech experience, and all of the housemates made me feel so welcome.

The future is bright, thanks Figma for bringing us together!

Oh also, if anyone happens to be hiring, let me know :)
