I know a lot of time has passed, but I’ve been reviewing some Cannes-Lions posts from Amélie Ebongué and Diane Primo. This was my first time at Cannes, and I continue to feel the glow.

I’ve been thinking from a business standpoint; what makes that place unique and special but also productive? Beyond the glamour, there's a genuine curiosity and interest that everyone has about each other, which encourages everyone including me, to strike up friendly conversation.

I had the privilege of meeting with The Marketing Academy who gave me the stage to talk about how I approach management and connecting with different consumers. I really appreciated their warm reception. It was great to be in a room full of marketing leaders who continually look to up-level the field and support each other in the process.

Terry Savage and Sherilyn Shackell, thank you for inviting me to present to this extraordinary organization. I hope to collaborate with you and your members soon.

Another highlight was that Pantone sponsored the Young Lions Marketing Competition. Laurie Pressman and I were really impressed by their program. This is a valuable way for companies to support their own employees in career growth. This event sets the bar high for marketers around the world. But I think when speaking to some of the winners: Praptee Sharma, Roshni Iyengar, Gemma Albin, Charlotte Rubesa, Mar Ventura Marí, and Sònia Bellés Fernandez, I realized that it also helped inspire more enthusiasm about the impact of real strategic thinking. These marketers had 24 hours to turn a brief around that would have meaningful impact on NGOs and nonprofits. Such great achievement across the board; they really did show their stuff. Congratulations Simon Cook and Philip Thomas for an impressive program. Thank you to Michaela Washmon, Addie Manzano, Attorie Burnett-Maloney and Laura Brown for bringing us on and helping us navigate the festival.

Throughout the week, there were so many memorable moments. I want to call out Laurie Pressman and thank her for the work she did on the Cannes Color Walk, which was a tour in Cannes through the lens of color. It was a thought provoking and meaningful way to explore the city, I know everyone enjoyed.

I can’t wait for next year! I look forward to meeting more thought leaders within the industry, connecting with creatives, and exploring future collaborations.

Last week, we were thrilled to have partnered with TEALEAVES and Michelin Star Chef Shaun Hergatt to create a Pantone 2024 COY culinary experience.

The TEALEAVES infused peach cocktails and three-course Peach Fuzz-inspired meal was a true testament to the creativity and synergy between color and culinary arts. And delicious! We also hosted a panel event with Chef Shaun and Laurie Pressman our VP of the Pantone Color Institute about the importance of color in the creative process of cooking and presentation.    One of the most exciting aspects of the evening was the exclusive preview and demo of our newest Pantone Connect feature that we will be unveiling to the public on August 6th. As a teaser, we think it will be an amazing inspirational and educational tool for our community of trend hunters, color enthusiasts and creatives. The positive feedback and enthusiasm from our guests—press, influencers, and partners—were truly inspiring. Stay tuned for more.   A big thank you to Chef Shaun Hergatt and his team at Vestry, Garret Chan and the TEALEAVES team for making this a truly amazing gathering. Special thanks to Laurie Pressman and Jung Sin for leading such an engaging panel discussion and demo! #PantoneCOY2024 #PeachFuzz #PantoneConnect
