Ellory Monks is an experienced entrepreneur-turned-executive with a passion for building products, teams, and businesses, particularly in the intersection of infrastructure and technology.

She successfully sold her first venture, The Atlas for Cities, to PE-backed GovExec and went on to hold various executive positions within the parent company, focusing on state & local government markets, product development, and company integration.

Ellory is a thought leader in next-generation infrastructure discussions, often contributing to publications like Brookings Institution, TechCrunch, and The New York Times.

Before co-founding The Atlas for Cities, she consulted on infrastructure innovation for numerous U.S. cities and served as a fellow at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy during the Obama Administration.

Her educational background includes studies in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Policy Studies at Rice University.

Ellory has held key positions in prominent organizations such as Vice President, Innovation at Cubic Transportation Systems and Executive Vice President at GovExec.

She was also notably a Co-Founder at The Atlas for Cities, a Partner at re partners, and a Fellow at the Institute for Defense Analyses, among various other roles.

Currently residing in San Diego with her family, Ellory Monks continues to make impactful contributions in the realms of technology, infrastructure, and business.
