Highlights
A few weeks ago, I made the extremely hard decision to leave Bloomberg Industry Group. . The choice to leave was difficult for many reasons...my Studio teammates were stellar, there was fantastic chemistry and camaraderie throughout the entire marketing department, and I was challenged by the work in the best sense. . However, as many are experiencing right now, my life has drastically changed over the past 2+ years. I rebuilt every aspect of my life to work from home, and to undo all of that in order to return to an office would take emotional and physical labor that I'm simply tapped out of. . Fortunately, I've been able to keep a small amount of freelance work going throughout the past two years—and I've finally been able to grow my client base and go into business for myself. . I'm beyond proud to share that I am currently completely booked with clients...a position I never could've imagined I'd be in at this point of time. While I'm totally booked at the moment, my schedule is extremely fluid, so if you ever need some freelance #copywriting help, drop me a line! . Finally, while I suppose I'm technically part of the #greatresignation , I don't want that overshadow the fact that I am so very grateful for having had the amazing opportunity to work with such a fantastic group of smart, kind people over the past year. Working at INDG allowed me to grow personally and professionally, and the benefits they offer are very generous. Although it's currently not the right place for me, it would definitely be a great environment for many. Thanks again to my INDG crew. It was truly an honor.
Last month, I made the incredibly difficult decision to leave Hilton. I am so grateful for having been part of The Studio - Hilton's brilliant internal creative agency that is overflowing with smarts, creativity, and kindness. I walk away a better writer and person because of this team.
With this departure comes a new adventure, and I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that today is my first day as a Senior Copywriter with Bloomberg Industry Group. First day jitters are nothing compared to the excitement I feel about joining this outstanding team, and I can't wait to dig in, work hard, and be vulnerable as I rise to the challenge.
