Emily Hervey

Adjunct Professor at Regent University

Emily Hervey is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, author, speaker, and editor with a specialization in trauma response and international training for leaders.

She is the founder of Worldwide Writings, LLC, a publishing company that supports globally-minded authors by preparing and publishing original works.

With a background of cross-cultural experiences in South America and Central Asia, Emily has worked with Third Culture Kids, provided mental health care to missionaries, and taught psychology internationally.

Emily Hervey holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, an MA in Clinical Psychology, and a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Studio Art from Regent University and Whitman College, respectively.

Her professional roles include Trauma Response Educator and Consultant, former Adjunct Professor at Regent University and ECWA Theological Seminary, former Editor at the Journal of Cross-Cultural Family Studies, and former Chief Editor at Worldwide Writings.

She has also worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Tumaini Counselling Centre, and as a Therapist at various institutions including The Robert J Murney Clinic, Center for Child and Family Services, and Psychological Services Center at Regent University.

Additionally, Emily has served as the Director of Community Development at Missionary Outreach Support Services, Ph.D. CES Administrative and Research Assistant at Regent University, and Office Assistant at Friends of Children of Walla Walla.
