Highlights
In all my years working with ambitious women in leadership and management positions, along with my own self-reflections (because yes, clients and community hold up a giant mirror), I’ve come to realize that we as women have immense capacity and can achieve so much when we seize the opportunity.
The catch? Depending on how we apply ourselves, it often involves unnecessary sacrifice.
In our fast-paced world, it's easy to unknowingly adopt a work style that pushes you as a woman to keep up and perform like a man, overriding your own physiology and gradually losing access to your distinct strengths.
Instead of leading in a way that feels authentic to you as a woman—allowing you to innovate and influence with your natural rhythm, you've adapted to a male template.
It's like a fish in water; you don’t realize it’s happening at first because things are moving forward in your business, or you’re getting praise at work. But eventually, it all catches up with you and takes a toll.
The toll varies for each woman—it could manifest as a halt in results, physical breakdown, accumulated stress, hormonal imbalance, self-doubt, depression, mental fatigue or lack of fulfillment.
I experienced all of this and more. The hardest transition I faced and one that I want to help other women navigate is learning how to embrace femininity in male-dominated industries to address these issues at their root.
High performance looks different for men and women, this isn't just my opinion, it's backed by scientific data. While I’m excited that more research is being done on women's health to prove this, it's important we have tools and resources to put this knowledge into practice.
When I set out to build The Feminine Template I wanted a framework that supports women in making this transition in modes of operating with more ease and support. I've been tailoring strategies that respect and leverage our physiology and psychology.
I've got a free virtual event coming up in September 10th. I can't wait to share more about these frameworks:
There’s nothing like the calmness of The Boston Public Library to put the final touches on our partnership deck today.
Already we've started to join forces with brands, industry leaders, and corporations who support our mission.
We are now ready to welcome more for events, content, research, sponsorships and affiliates.
