Dr. Emily Parrott is an accomplished educator and nonprofit leader dedicated to changing the odds for young people's success.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Human Ecology with a focus on Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

With a strong background in academia and direct service, she is currently the Director of Research and Evaluation at Thrive Scholars, where she works to bridge the gap between research, practice, and policy to create positive outcomes for young individuals.

Throughout her career, Emily has held various roles in organizations such as The Aspen Institute, Teaching Trust, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on research, evaluation, program management, and educational initiatives.

Her commitment to changing the odds for underprivileged youth is evident through her extensive experience in program coordination, research, evaluation, and teaching roles across multiple institutions and non-profit organizations.
