At a time when I am struggling to feel confident in my power (due to all of the #longcovidsymptoms/cognitive dysfunction I'm going through), my radical changemaker friend, Ridhi D'Cruz, reached out. Ridhi made sure to explicitly remind me that despite being out of work I still am of value to the community and I matter.

She also invited me back to City Repair's Village Building Convergence to speak about Education Justice on Sunday 6/3. It's an honor to be on a panel with folx like the unstoppable Monica Ibacache and magical nature education goddess, Kelly Hogan (I'm unfamiliar with the third but excited to hear them speak about decolonizing nature education!).

Seeking Equity-Informed Life Coaching resources: trainings, articles, podcasts, books, people to talk to, etc!

I just started an Integrated Wellness Coaching training program and I'm sorely disappointed (though not surprised) in how little it appears to be addressing systemic oppression---not to mention how white the resources and teachers are.

I would love to learn from coaches with marginalized identities (queer black femmes to the front!) on how they approach coaching with a systemic equity lens.
