Highlights
Proud to celebrate my colleague Devin Carberry and the exciting release of his book "The Future Will Not Be Taught", due to launch tomorrow.
"The Future Will Not Be Taught" is a roadmap out of the global crisis in education and toward a future in which all learners thrive: they have agency, feel a sense of purpose, and love learning. It is your guide to design and implement a compelling vision for your learning community– whether you are a teacher striving to apply innovative learning strategies, a school leader working to transform your school, or a changemaker launching an innovative learning community.
This is a must-read for anyone and everyone who cares about how to prepare youngsters for the world of today and for a yet-to-be-revealed future (no matter what that may hold!). As an educator, it is transformative. And even as parents, it can help to reframe the thinking around how we support and encourage a lifelong curiosity to learn at home.
If you are based in Barcelona, you can find out more about the book and launch event tomorrow at Learnlife Urban Hub here: https://lnkd.in/dwS625gG
For anyone outside BCN or unable to make it, you can also register via this same link to get your free digital copy of the book from tomorrow, May 9th :)
